What if the app template changes?

When you change the app template in Podio, then these changes will not be automatically reflected in the form builder or webform. Here are some use cases that you need to be mindful of when changing the app template. 


If you have added or changed a field and the change is not reflected on the form builder, we advice you to do the following:

  • Remove the field that was changed in the app template
  • Save the web form
  • Add the field again
  • Click Save

Category values

Newly added values to a category field will not be shown automatically in your form or form builder. In order to fix this, you need to:

  • Open the configuration box of the field (gear icon -> Edit)
  • Remove all category values
  • Click Save

The category field will now show all category values, including the newly added values.
